"Ku-ring-gai Bushwalkers group is special in that if gives everyone an opportunity to get out there, have a great time in our spectacular bush and appreciate the great outdoors. We’ve traveled many kilometers just within the Sydney Basin. It never ceases to amaze me that there is so much bushland diversity in our very own backyard."
Carmel Healey - School Teacher

"T
hank you also for the great walk on Sunday and yes I am keen to participate in another walk soon. I was most impressed with your event organisation, safety proceedures, and fellow walkers."
Brian Currie - Accountant

"What I like about Ku-ring-gai Bushwalkers is it has enabled me to discover interesting and sometimes enchanting places I never would have been able to on my own - places our experienced leaders introduce us to and, magically, manage to lead us out of.  I believe the walks have increased my endurance and distances I would have thought daunting this time last year I have completed without too much loss of dignity!  It must be the good company along the way."
Sandra Chia - Administrator

"Thank you very much for your most generous hospitality on Sunday. The walk was great and the barebeque first rate. The time that people stayed on is a measure of how we all enjoyed it. You made us so welcome, worked so hard with so much preparation beforehand that  everyone was even more relaxed than usual. Thanks for the special day."
Bruce Farmer - Retired

"We are now well on our way back to Canada. We'll definitely miss Australia, particularly all of you at Ku-ring-gai Bushwalkers. The bushwalking club is the highlight of our stay in Sydney. Thanks again for hosting our farewell barbie.. All the best to you all and we'll keep in touch."
Rob & Joyce Reid - Overseas Visitors

"What I like about Ku-ring-gai Bushwalkers
1.  I can have a good time, while getting fit, with a group of like-minded people of similar age (and ability).  Also I can tackle walks that are impossible to do by myself due to the need to start and end in different places - sharing cars is a simple effective solution to this.
2. The beer or other social activity after a good hard walk (done at a fast pace and usually involving hills) often visiting a part of the Sydney bush that I've never been to before.  Some of the trails are not well marked and it is good to have a leader who knows what he is doing and is well prepared."
Elizabeth Abbott - Managing Director

I enjoyed the recent Sea to Summit week-end a lot, it was very friendly, very pleasant and the company was excellent.  I know that things don’t happen by accident, such a successful week-end would have required a lot of organization and behind the scene work (A LOT), and I wanted to say a big thank you to you to the organisiers for everything you have done.
I have always enjoyed the club, but things don’t happen overnight, it takes a while to settle in with new people and this week-end made me realize that I now feel really part of the club and that it has helped me a lot to deal with my life in the past year.
Claire Green - Office Manager

Just wanted to say THANK you for organising a fabulous week-end. I felt so re-charged and happy afterwards. What a great crowd of walkers you have, I feel privileged to "hang out" with you....
thanks again.

Our 12th Anniversary - Dear Greg and Carmel. What a wonderful day it was today. Everything was perfect from the decorated morning tea stop, the ferry ride on Pittwater, the seafood lunch, games, scenic walk and of course the weather was great too. I know a lot of thought and organisation went into making the day so much fun. Thank you both so much.
Molly McDougal - Human Resource Manager

I loved the 12th anniversary walk...the best walk yet, lots of fun and extremely well organised...and yes the guys did win the cricket, without doubt! Thanks so much.
